This role requires you to manage the product lifecycle and delivery, while effectively communicating and influencing across multiple stakeholder groups—including internal IT teams, third-party vendors, and senior business leadership. Success in this role demands strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask in a complex environment, and excellent interpersonal abilities. You will play a key role in ensuring that product outcomes are aligned with overall company goals.Roles and Responsibilities: 1. ​Product Management<ul><li>Own and drive the success of IT product(s) that support business strategy, including planning and maintaining a product roadmap aligned with overall business objectives. Focus on delivering high-quality, innovative features and enhancements.</li><li>Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams—including IT, business units, and third-party vendors—throughout the entire product delivery lifecycle to ensure alignment with business goals. Lead project management efforts when required.</li><li>Engage and influence business stakeholders to prioritize product demands in alignment with software engineering teams.</li><li>Oversee end-to-end system implementation and execution, ensuring timely and effective delivery.</li><li>Develop detailed product specifications (e.g., UI/UX designs, functional specification documents) in collaboration with internal and external IT stakeholders to guide and prioritize delivery efforts.</li><li>Lead end-to-end testing activities, including user coordination, feedback management, and functional validation.</li><li>Support the development of business cases related to your product scope, with an understanding of the financial impact of proposed initiatives.</li><li>Monitor and evaluate the success of product launches, including conducting post-launch reviews and performance tracking.</li></ul>2. Stakeholder Management<ul><li>Manage, optimize, and prioritize business demands in alignment with value generation and available resource capacity, working closely with heads of business units.</li><li>Build, negotiate, and influence strong relationships with senior leadership and managers across divisions to ensure delivery of credible and consistent solution services.</li><li>Manage and influence relationships with vendors, business partners, and Group IT to enable flexible and effective delivery outcomes.</li></ul>3. Strategic Planning <ul><li>Formulate and define the long- and mid-term strategic plans for the unit, ensuring alignment with IT and business priorities across the assigned portfolio(s).</li><li>Identify, develop, and nurture strong leadership and high-performing individual contributors to build a capable team that effectively supports business demands.</li><li>Lead and influence a culture of cost-efficient, agile, and flexible delivery of IT solutions, while upholding governance standards.</li><li>Establish and implement policies, procedures, standards, and best practices to drive a center of excellence for IT solution delivery.</li></ul>4. People Development &amp; Management <ul><li>Lead, attract, and retain high-quality individual contributors to build strategic and operational capabilities that are sustainable by:<ul><li>Setting clear direction and goals, and engaging team members to translate these into actionable outcomes.</li><li>Developing leaders and high performers through targeted learning and development initiatives.</li><li>Promoting a mindset focused on effective, high-quality processes.</li></ul></li><li>Manage and optimize resource planning and utilization to maximize output in support of business demands.</li><li>Coach and mentor team members to strengthen both technical and soft skills required for successful execution.</li><li>Drive team performance and individual development plans in alignment with the overall IT strategic direction.</li></ul>Minimum Job Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.</li><li>7–8 years of experience in IT Product Management or Software Engineering, with 5–8 years in a supervisory role within the supported IT domain.</li><li>Proven experience in executing IT projects, with strong expertise in system applications, data management, and technology implementation.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with middle and senior management, as well as internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.</li><li>Preferably possesses domain knowledge in insurance business operations, including familiarity with distribution channel models.</li><li>Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.</li><li>Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with peers and stakeholders.</li></ul>Build a career with us as we help our customers and the community live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.You must provide all requested information, including Personal Data, to be considered for this career opportunity.
