<h3 class="text-primary">Job Description</h3> THE OPPORTUNITY Our client, a leading U.S. provider in healthcare services, is hiring a Software Architect. They specialize in independent medical assessments and support insurance carriers, law firms, third-party administrators, and government agencies by verifying claims related to automotive, disability, liability, and workers’ compensation, ensuring accurate and objective evaluations that drive fair decisions and regulatory compliance. They’re now looking for a Software Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable enterprise solutions. This role will play a critical part in shaping system architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals, and mentoring development teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES <ul><li>Abstract the complexity of a system into a manageable model that describes the essence of a system by exposing important details and significant constraints.</li> <li>Maintain control over the architecture lifecycle parallel to the project’s software development lifecycle and proactively monitor the adherence of the implementation to the chosen architecture during all iterations.</li> <li>Make critical decisions that define a specific direction for a system in terms of implementation, operations, and maintenance. The critical decisions must be faithfully made and backed up by understanding and evaluation of alternative options. These decisions usually result in trade-offs that principally define characteristics of a system.</li> <li>Work closely with Senior Management and Executives to explain the benefits and justify the investment in software architectures.</li> <li>Guide and mentor developers; act as a technical advisor</li> <li>Act as an agent of change in organization where process maturity is not sufficient for creating and maintaining architecture centric development.</li> <li>Participate in development of long range planning for new projects and facilities.</li> <li>Perform Peer Code reviews.</li> <li>Creating and implementing plan to meet department’s goals and metrics based on workload and client needs.</li> <li>Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices</li> </ul>SKILLS, EXPERIENCE &amp; QUALIFICATION <ul><li>10+ years of software development experience, including leadership in system architecture for large enterprise organizations</li> <li>Deep expertise in Microsoft technologies</li> <li>Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and microservices architecture</li> <li>Experience with AI technologies is a strong advantage</li> <li>Background in the healthcare or insurance industries is highly desirable</li> <li>Proven ability to mentor development teams and influence product strategy and direction</li> <li>Excellent English communication and documentation skills</li> </ul>ASW OFFERS <ul type="disc"><li>We are experts in international partnerships.
