Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Familiar with BS, ASTM, and local standards (e.g., MS, JKR) for soil and material testing.</li>
<li>Able to conduct common soil tests and concrete test such as: Sieve analysis, Atterberg limits, Moisture content, Standard/Modified Proctor compaction, Field Density Test (Sand Cone), Specific gravity, California Bearing Ratio (CBR), Unconfined compression test (UCT), Triaxial test (if applicable), Concrete cube test.</li>
<li>Ability to prepare soil samples correctly and maintain integrity.</li>
<li>Capable of operating: Ovens, Balances, Hydrometers, Compaction equipment, Triaxial machines, Permeability apparatus.</li>
<li>Interpret test results to determine if materials meet industry standards and project specifications.</li>
<li>Monitor and inspect construction materials, ensuring they adhere to project quality standards and regulations.</li>
<li>Report any discrepancies or deviations from project requirements to project managers and engineers.</li>
<li>Prepare detailed reports that document the results of tests, any issues encountered, and recommendations for corrective actions.</li>
<li>Work closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to provide technical support and address material-related issues.</li>
