Job Summary
• drive the yield improvement, process and usage optimization.
• lead in the development of new products or processes.
• Overseeing operation of Compounding and chemical preparation.
• develop and improve compounding formulation and processes
• Monitor product quality against established parameters and take appropriate action when required.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and process issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Provide training for new employees as needed.
Job Responsibilities
• Collaborate with engineering team members on projects related to manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, and quality control.
• Develop and implement solutions to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
• Conduct experiments and analyze data to identify root causes of problems and optimize process conditions.
• Apply lean principles to eliminate non-value added activities and streamline workflows.
• Utilize computerized systems such as SAP and Excel for data collection and analysis.
• Document findings and results clearly and concisely.
• Present reports and presentations to management as necessary.
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or relevant field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lean six sigma manufacturing principles and techniques.
• Excellent problem solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Preferably familiar with ISO 13485
