About Us

Blueground (M) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Soulasia Capital, provides beautifully furnished apartments across Kuala Lumpur for expats, business travellers, and corporate clients on short and mid-term stays. We're building the go-to housing solution for professionals relocating to Malaysia - and we're growing fast.

The Opportunity

We're hiring our first dedicated Business Development Manager to lead corporate sales in Malaysia. You'll work directly with the CEO to open new corporate accounts, build partnerships with relocation and mobility providers, and position Blueground as the default housing choice for expats landing in KL.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role for a hungry B2B sales professional who wants to own their pipeline and make a visible impact from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and open new corporate accounts — MNCs, regional HQs, tech companies, consulting firms, and other businesses relocating talent to Malaysia
  • Develop and manage partnerships with relocation agencies, global mobility providers, and destination service providers (DSPs)
  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, pitching, negotiation, and closing
  • Serve as the main point of contact for HR teams, global mobility managers, and corporate decision-makers
  • Deliver tailored housing solutions by matching client needs with Blueground's portfolio
  • Manage renewals, upsell long-stay bookings, and grow existing accounts
  • Share market insights, competitor intel, and client feedback with leadership
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and the CEO to ensure seamless service delivery

Job Requirements

  • 2–4 years of B2B sales experience (open industry — hospitality, SaaS, corporate services, real estate, logistics, etc.)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong cold outreach skills — you don't wait for inbound leads
  • Excellent communication in English; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus; Mandarin is a bonus
  • Organised, CRM-disciplined, and commercially sharp
  • Confident negotiating contracts and managing C-level / HR-level conversations
  • Currently based in Kuala Lumpur or willing to relocate immediately
