Job Description

1. Role Overview

This is a hybrid position (3 days Work-From-Home, 2 days Work-From-Office) for a professional to manage the intersection of client relationship management and internal HR operations.

You will be responsible for qualifying and closing sales leads as well as providing administrative advisory to ensure Pinkcollar's job placements are stable, compliant, and balanced for all parties involved.

2. Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Account Management: Act as the primary contact for inquiries. You will qualify prospects for placement services and manage service-based accounts (e.g., contract renewals). You will also be responsible for meeting growth and revenue targets for Pinkcollar’s administrative services.
  • Post-Placement Admin & Support: You will provide administrative support for our clients post-placement; this involves coordinating documentation and serving as a point of contact for basic inquiries. While your primary focus is admin, you may occasionally assist on 1–2 active cases to learn the industry and provide backup aftersales support to the team.
  • Legal Compliance Guidance: Most employers find the hiring process in Malaysia confusing and difficult to navigate. You will use Pinkcollar's operational expertise to simplify complex work permit and embassy requirements into a clear, manageable game plan for our clients.
  • Internal HR Assistance: Assist the CEO with HR-related tasks such as hiring and onboarding.
  • Ownership of the Sales Lead Journey: You will take full responsibility for the lead process from start to finish. You’ll stay ahead of the follow-up lead cycle, keep all records accurate, and ensure that leads move through our sales cycle smoothly and efficiently.

3. The Ideal Candidate Profile

We are hiring for potential and will provide full technical, industry-specific training if you are hired. We are looking for someone who prioritises preemptive planning, leads with accurate foresight and scopes out solutions before they become problems. We value candidates who exercise demonstrable emotional intelligence and intellectual maturity required to handle sensitive situations.

  • Natural Authority: You are comfortable setting expectations and leading a conversation. You don't wait for a script when things get complicated; you provide the clarity and direction needed to move forward.
  • Accountability: You enjoy having a domain to "own." You take pride in being the person who understands the intricacies of the work and can be relied upon to handle sensitive matters independently.
  • Effective Communication: You can communicate complex or firm points in a way that preserves the relationship while ensuring the standard is met.

What we're seeking:

  • Professional Experience: 1–4 years in Recruitment, HR, Sales, Client Relations, or any other position where you have demonstrated leadership potential & the ability to work effectively to meet company goals in an autonomous manner.
  • Hybrid Discipline: You are highly self-disciplined and capable of maintaining productivity in a results-oriented, hybrid environment (3 days WFH, 2 days WFO).
  • Stakeholder Management: You have a proven ability to manage expectations and mediate between parties with a calm, professional demeanour.
  • HR Fundamentals: Foundational knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and HR practices are a strong plus.
  • Languages: Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required. Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is a major advantage.
