AI-generated summary
This job is for a UI/UX Designer at Boolland, where you'll craft engaging ecommerce sites and apps using Figma. You might like this job because you can work full-time or freelance, and your portfolio matters more than years of experience!
About the role
Boolland is a software house building ecommerce websites, corporate sites, mobile apps and brand experiences for our clients. We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to own the design side of client projects — from understanding the brief to delivering clean, conversion-focused designs in Figma.
We hire on portfolio, not years. Full-time and freelance designers are both welcome — the application form lets you tell us which.
What you will do
- Design ecommerce, corporate website and mobile app experiences end-to-end in Figma
- Join client onboarding calls to gather requirements and clarify scope through Q&A
- Turn scope and user flows into wireframes, high-fidelity UI and interactive prototypes
- Build reusable components and design systems, and apply client branding guidelines to UI
- Design responsive, mobile-first layouts optimised for conversion
- Hand off dev-ready files and collaborate with developers through build
How we work
Deal closed → scope of work & user flows defined → client onboarding & Q&A → design. You always start from a clear brief.
Work arrangement & pay
- Remote-friendly by default; our SS2 Petaling Jaya office is open whenever you want it
- Full-time (with EPF & SOCSO) or freelance/contract — your choice
- Salary open for discussion, based on experience and portfolio
How to apply
Apply through our application form (required): https://forms.gle/B8XKswyPb3GDyETD8
Include your portfolio link — applications without one will not be reviewed.

- Open to using AI tools where they speed up the grunt work (icons, assets, ideation)
