This role offers a unique opportunity to set up and lead a new warehouse operation from the ground up within a growing logistics organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing best-in-class warehouse processes, introducing new value-added services, and leading a team to deliver operational excellence aligned with MNC/3PL standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, setup, and commissioning of a new warehouse facility, including layout optimisation, workflow design, SOP development, and resource planning.
• Manage end-to-end warehouse operations, covering inbound, storage, inventory control, order fulfilment, and outbound coordination to meet customer SLAs.
• Design and operationalise value-added logistics services such as labeling, kitting, palletisation, cross-docking, and fulfilment solutions.
• Establish and enforce operational governance, KPIs, and control mechanisms in line with professional 3PL / MNC practices.
• Drive inventory accuracy, process discipline, and continuous improvement, leveraging data and operational performance metrics.
• Lead, coach, and develop the warehouse team, fostering a performance- and safety-driven culture.
• Ensure full compliance with safety, security, regulatory, and customer requirements, including audits and inspections.
• Cross-functional coordination with sales, customer service, transport, and regional stakeholders to support service delivery and business growth.
• Support management on warehouse leasing, vendor management, cost control, and operational budgeting.
• Prepare management reports and contribute inputs to business expansion and service development initiatives.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related discipline.
• 4–7 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably within a 3PL, MNC, or structured logistics environment.
• Hands-on exposure to warehouse setup, ramp-up, or process re-engineering projects is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of warehouse best practices, inventory control, safety standards, and operational KPIs.
• Experience leading operational teams and managing day-to-day execution.
• Comfortable working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment with high ownership and accountability.
• Proficient in MS Excel; experience with WMS/ERP systems is an advantage.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
