Job Description

1. Drawing Assessment & Technical Collaboration

• Examine construction drawings, shop drawings, and design documents for precision and adherence to standards.
   
• Detect inconsistencies, conflicts, or technical challenges in drawings and suggest remedies.
   
• Coordinate with designers, consultants, and the technical team in China for drawing clarifications (RFI).
   
• Support the updating and management of drawing registers and revision history.
   

2. Engineering Assistance

• Provide technical guidance to site teams, supervisors, and subcontractors.
   
• Ensure that construction activities adhere to approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
   
• Assist in the preparation of technical submissions, method statements, material approvals, and engineering documentation.
   
• Perform site inspections to confirm work progress and technical conformity.
   

3. Project Management

• Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and site coordination discussions.
   
• Clearly articulate technical requirements to subcontractors and project teams.
   
• Collaborate closely with engineering or design teams in China, utilizing Mandarin.
   

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Organize technical documentation, engineering logs, and drawing collections.
   
• Compile technical summaries, issue logs, and progress reports for management review.
   
• Manage RFI, NCR, and related technical follow-up documentation.
   

Job Requirements

• Possession of a Diploma or Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or comparable Engineering disciplines.
   
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of engineering experience in areas such as construction, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
   
• Capable of reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings relevant to Civil, Structural, or M&E based on the area of expertise.
   
• Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for effective coordination with management and design teams in China.
   
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, engineering methodologies, and technical specifications.
   
• Skilled in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and tools for reviewing drawings.
   
• Outstanding problem-solving, communication, and coordination abilities.
