Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly driven and proactive Retail Sales Manager to expand Corkcicle Malaysia’s retail presence.

Your mission is to grow our network of dealers, retail partners, gyms, lifestyle shops, cafes, and corporate clients, and help Corkcicle establish stronger visibility in Malaysia.

You must be passionate about brand building, confident in approaching new partners, and capable of driving consistent sales results.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Dealer & Retail Partner Acquisition
  • Identify and recruit new retail partners (lifestyle stores, sports shops, gift shops, cafes, gyms, bookstores, etc.)
  • Conduct regular store visits, cold approaches, and presentations
  • Secure consignment, wholesale, or partnership agreements
  • Manage and grow the dealer network across Malaysia

2. Corporate & B2B Sales

  • Develop corporate gifting opportunities (companies, events, agencies)
  • Prepare quotations and proposals for bulk orders

3. Sales Pipeline & Reporting

  • Build and maintain an active sales pipeline (leads → follow-up → closing)
  • Submit weekly activity reports and monthly sales performance
  • Track KPIs and ensure targets are met

4. Account Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with dealers and retailers
  • Provide product training, merchandising support, and display guidelines
  • Handle orders, replenishment, and sell-in/sell-through tracking

Job Requirements

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in retail sales, distributor management, or channel development
  • Proven track record in opening new stores/dealers or retail accounts
  • Experience with lifestyle, sports, FMCG, drinkware, home & living, or retail categories is a strong advantage
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Comfortable with daily travel, store visits, and face-to-face sales
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong reporting skills (Excel/Google Sheets/CRM)
