<h2>Job description</h2>
The Senior Procurement Executive is responsible for overseeing procurement activities to ensure business continuity, particularly in handling job requests from retainer customers/accounts. The role also involves general administrative support, purchasing functions, and resource management, including materials and vendor relationships. Additionally, the Senior Procurement Executive will coordinate and provide support to the Commercial Team and other subsidiaries within the company. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, proactive and capable of working independently.
Core Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Possess knowledge and experience in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and quotations based on the company’s format.</li>
<li>Lead the development and implementation of the project capital procurement management plan, including procurement strategies, bidding, contracting, and execution.</li>
<li>Demonstrate experience in shipment Incoterms, such as LCL/FCL and CIF terms.</li>
<li>Experience in resource management strategies, particularly in supplier and manufacturer dealings—especially from China or other countries—related to construction industry materials and products.</li>
<li>Perform quantity measurement and taking off.</li>
<li>Obtain and compare quotations for cost evaluation.</li>
<li>Conduct material stock checks and ensure timely material deliveries.</li>
<li>Verify sub-contractor/supplier payments.</li>
<li>Follow up on claims submission to clients after work completion, if applicable.</li>
<li>Manage Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and Request to Pay (RtP) processes.</li>
<li>Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiating the best prices, terms, and conditions while meeting requestors’ specifications and delivery schedules.</li>
<li>Monitor supply chain trends, including price fluctuations and supply shortages, and inform management of significant factors affecting procurement.</li>
<li>Ensure that all control documents related to the quality system are up-to-date and maintained at relevant locations.</li>
<li>Ensure the implementation of the latest procurement procedures.</li>
<li>Manage, maintain, and enhance supplier/vendor sourcing plans, including pre-qualification and registration.</li>
<li>Maintain contract administration records, registers, and filing systems in accordance with the company’s ISO and SOP standards.</li>
<li>Assist with client vendor registration and pre-qualification.</li>
<li>Assist in tracking and distributing incoming general emails.</li>
<li>Maintain pre- and post-show records for assigned projects.</li>
<li>Perform any other responsibilities assigned by management.</li>
<li>Comply with department SOPs and the company’s Integrated Management System (ISO9001, ISO37001, ISO45001, ISO14001).</li>
