This- position will assume responsibility for planning, setting and communicating the academic and operational vision, strategies and goals of the Faculty and achieving them in accordance with the University’s strategic plan and governance framework. The Dean will position the Faculty’s education and research activities to have a strong impact nationally and regionally. The Dean also enables the values of the University in relation to its people and culture and provides a safe working environment for its staff and students.</p> </div></div><div class="brxe-block col-8"><h2 class="brxe-heading primary text-m">Key Responsibilities</h2><div class="brxe-text"><ul> <li>Provide academic leadership for the development and implementation of the Faculty’s strategic and operational plans.</li> <li>Develop and implement policies and initiatives to enhance academic excellence and student success. Lead in the recruitment and retainment of Faculty members.</li> <li>Actively promote education innovation and excellence and set research directions and targets.
