GENERAL JOB BRIEF 

This position is responsible for installation, testing, configuring, troubleshooting, fixing & data restoration on hardware, software, and networking system; understanding of strategic IT solutions. Apply to both internal & external jobs requirement.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform machine setup, troubleshooting & analysis for Company’s Products at client’s premises.
2. Troubleshoot issues and outages
3. Monitor network performance (availability, latency etc.) and test for weaknesses
4. Provide advice on the most suitable IT solution
5. Troubleshooting, fixing of network and software issues.
6. Diagnose, troubleshoot & solving technical issues when they arise.
7. Prepare and review all Service Level and Operation Metrics and KPI scorecards for service delivery.
8. Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software.
9. Assess system performance and recommend improvements.
10. To draft job scopes related Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
11. To perform other ad-hoc as assigned by superior.

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Diploma Holder of Computer Engineering / Computer Science / IT or relevant field.
• Proven experience as IT Senior Engineer for min. of 3 years.
• Extensive knowledge of computer hardware systems. system installation, configuration and analysis, LAN and wireless networks, thorough knowledge of networks.
• Familiarity with general OS systems, Enterprise, and Office software.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues.
• Knowledge of database and networking security systems.
• Advanced skill on MFC Product & Network.
• Good analysing and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Good communication skills in both written & verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Good customer liaison skills.
• Valid driver’s license (B2 or D) and vehicle are required for this position as it requires onsite client support.
