Job Description

Accounting & Bookkeeping

  •  Handle full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations). 
  •  Record and update daily financial transactions accurately and timely.  
  •  Ensure all accounting entries comply with relevant accounting standards and company policies.

Financial Reporting

  •  Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.  
  •  Generate management reports including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
  •  Assist in financial analysis to support decision-making.

Accounts Payable & Receivable  

  •  Process supplier invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments.  
  •  Issue invoices to clients/customers and follow up on outstanding payments.  
  •  Monitor aging reports and manage collections effectively.

Budgeting & Forecasting  

  •  Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. 
  •  Monitor budget vs. actual performance and highlight variances. 

Taxation & Compliance

  • Assist in preparing tax computations and ensure compliance with SST, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements. 
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities for audits and tax matters.

Internal Controls & Documentation

  •  Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records for easy retrieval.  
  •  Support implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure process compliance.

Other Responsibilities 

  •  Handle expense claims.  
  •  Support ad-hoc finance projects and assignments as required by management. 


Job Requirements

 Education & Qualification

 • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 

 • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, MIA) is an advantage. 

Experience

  •  Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles.  
  •  Experience in property/shopping mall management industry is preferred.  
  •  Mandarin proficiency (spoken and written) would be an added advantage. 

Skills & Competencies

 • Proficient in accounting software (AutoCount) and Microsoft Excel. 

 • Strong understanding of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations.  

  •  Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently under minimal supervision.  
  •  Good communication and interpersonal skills.  
  •  Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
