All about the role:

Step into the heart of innovation at Genesi, Electrolux’s most advanced and automated factory, located in Susegana (TV), Italy. Specializing in built-in refrigerators, this state-of-the-art facility opened in 2021 following a €240 million investment. It features:

• 1.8 km of assembly lines
• 161 robots
• Over 6,000 sensors
• Cutting-edge Industry 4.0 technologies

In early 2025, a third production line—the result of another major investment—was launched, further expanding the plant’s capabilities and reinforcing its role as a global benchmark in smart manufacturing.

As Automation Maintenance Manager, you’ll lead the charge in ensuring our high-tech systems run smoothly, safely, and sustainably. You’ll drive preventive maintenance strategies, lead a skilled team, and collaborate across departments to keep innovation moving.

What you’ll do

Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will:

• Define and implement maintenance strategies and objectives
• Lead and coordinate internal and external maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and foster a safety-first culture
• Manage spare parts and equipment availability
• Support the development and testing of new equipment
• Create and maintain equipment master data in the maintenance system
• Drive lean maintenance practices and continuous improvement
• Oversee contractor management and performance
• Monitor KPIs and control maintenance-related costs
• Share and implement best practices across the organization

Who you are

• You hold a technical degree
• You bring 5+ years of experience in maintenance, including 3+ years in leadership roles
• You’re skilled in safety and risk management, lean methodologies, and maintenance tools
• You’re a strong communicator with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset

You’ll be based at our global Food Preservation hub in Susegana, just an hour from Venice. Here, you’ll collaborate with teams across Quality, R&D, Production, Supply Chain, and more—all united by a shared mission to redefine refrigeration.
