Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Possess at least a recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or in related fields).
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering within the Oil & Gas industry, with a focus on onshore and offshore fabrication projects.
  3. Comprehensive knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, NDT, and material selection for Oil & Gas applications.
  4. Familiarity with industry standards, including API, ASME, AWS, and ISO.
  5. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and fabrication-related software.
  6. Strong understanding of HSE standards and practices in onshore and offshore environments.
  7. Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to challenging timelines and environments.
  9. Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) and offshore safety training (e.g., BOSIET) is an added advantage.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Plan, coordinate, and execute onshore and offshore fabrication projects in alignment with client specifications, timelines, and budgets.
  2. Develop detailed project schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and resource allocation plans.
  3. Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and scope of work, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  4. Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and communication.
  5. Monitor progress on fabrication activities, including material procurement, welding, assembly, and testing.
  6. Ensure compliance with quality assurance and control procedures, conducting inspections and overseeing NDT activities.
  7. Identify and manage project risks, proposing and implementing mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions.
