At the forefront, the Head of Marketing is responsible for leading and inspiring the team, championing fresh marketing ideas to further grow the business. This is a role that values team input, taking what is proven to work and expanding it to reach greater marketing objectives in the long run. The Head of Marketing is also responsible for planning the marketing calendar, as well as overseeing the team in implementing it. The bearer of the role is also a natural communicator with a wide network of contacts, which is consistently expanded through various networking activities.

JOBSCOPE:

• Listen to market trends and direct the marketing research efforts of the company.
• Liaise with other departments to guide a unified approach to market demands and brand growth.
• Define marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategies and objectives.
• Develop a feasible marketing plan for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation of Marketing team members.
• Plan and organise marketing functions and operations, ensuring that they project the overall company voice. This includes exercises in product development, branding, and communications.
• Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, public relations and press outreach, and various other marketing endeavours across channels and platforms (digital, press, and on-ground).
• Build a highly efficient and effective team of marketing professionals.
• Create and maintain a solid network of strategic partnerships.

Job Requirements

• Relevant Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• Relevant years of experience in marketing and running a marketing team.
• Proven digital and on-ground marketing campaign experience.
• Experience with digital marketing formats such as social media and content marketing.
• An extensive list of contacts related to the field.
• Knowledge of various digital marketing tools, software, and platforms.
• Integrity and dependability; must show up when needed and be willing to go beyond the call of duty.
• People skills; must be able to establish and maintain relationships within and beyond the company.
• Analytical thinking; able to analyse business and market trends and steer marketing endeavours accordingly.
• Proven ability to manage budgets.
• Professional and proactive work ethic.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

MARKETING WORKING HOURS:

Monday-Sunday: Five (5) Working Days with Two (2) Off Days per week.

8 Working Hours (1 hour break) per day / 40 hours per week.
