Job Description

Role Overview

The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and executing Lamarsa’s overall marketing strategy to drive brand growth, customer engagement, and sales performance. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, working closely with internal teams, external agencies, and brand partners. The Marketing Manager will oversee a small in-house marketing team and is expected to be deeply involved in planning, reviewing, and executing campaigns while building structure, clarity, and accountability within the team.

Key Responsibilities

1.  Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, ensuring clear roles, priorities, and accountability.
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and performance direction to ensure high-quality output.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and Management to ensure clarity, alignment, and timely delivery.
  • Build structured workflows, approvals, and reporting processes within the marketing function.

2. Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligned with company objectives and brand positioning.
  • Plan annual and quarterly marketing calendars covering campaigns, product launches, promotions, and events.
  • Translate business and sales goals into clear marketing plans with measurable KPIs.
  • Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to refine strategies.

3. Campaign & Content Management

  • Oversee end-to-end marketing campaigns across digital, retail, and offline channels.
  • Guide content direction for social media, website, EDMs, advertising, and brand communications.
  • Review and approve marketing materials to ensure consistency with brand tone and standards.
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.

4. Digital & E-Commerce Marketing

  • Work closely with the e-commerce team to support website content, product launches, and promotional pages.
  • Oversee digital performance including social media, paid ads, website traffic, and conversion metrics.
  • Support data accuracy and content readiness for website and updates when required.

5. Brand Partnerships & Events

  • Coordinate brand collaborations, product launches, and marketing-led events.
  • Work closely with principals, suppliers, and partners on joint marketing initiatives.
  • Support event planning, messaging, and post-event reporting to maximise brand impact.

6. Market Intelligence, Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Conduct market analysis to stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities, using insights to refine our marketing strategies.
  • Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Track and report marketing performance, campaign results, and ROI.
  • Present insights and recommendations to management based on data and outcomes.
  • Continuously refine strategies based on performance analysis

Job Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of marketing experience, preferably in retail, lifestyle, FMCG, or premium brands.
  • Proven experience managing integrated marketing campaigns and teams.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, and performance analytics.
  • Experience working with agencies, vendors, and external partners.
  • Comfortable operating in a hands-on, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail, organisation, and accountability.
