Job Description

We are looking for a Creative Director to lead the creative vision of our award-winning video production house. This is a hands-on role for a dynamic storyteller who can shape concepts, craft narratives, and guide projects from ideation to execution—ensuring ideas align with client objectives while maintaining cinematic impact and production excellence.

As a Creative Director at Gary Chong Studios, you will:

• Lead the creative development of projects across corporate films, commercials, brand campaigns, festive films, and digital content. 
• Write and pitch engaging scripts that bring stories to life while meeting strategic brand goals. 
• Oversee the entire production cycle—pre-production, shoot, and post-production—ensuring creative direction remains consistent. 
• Collaborate closely with producers, directors, cinematographers, and editors to bring concepts to life. 
• Mentor and inspire the creative team, cultivating a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence. 
• Ensure all creative output reflects both artistic integrity and client objectives, creating work that leaves a lasting impact.

Job Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in a creative role within a production house, advertising agency, or media company. Prior experience as a Creative Director, Senior Copywriter, or Scriptwriter highly valued.
• Strong portfolio showcasing scriptwriting, creative direction, and conceptual thinking across commercial and corporate projects.
• Deep understanding of visual storytelling, brand communication, and audience engagement in video content.
• Ability to translate client briefs into compelling narratives and structured scripts.
• Hands-on experience working with directors, producers, and post-production teams to execute creative vision.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, able to articulate ideas and provide constructive feedback.
• Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced and evolving project needs.
