Job Description

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and project proposals based on design specifications and client requirements.
• Support in creating and reviewing bills of quantities (BOQ) and tender documents.
• Collaborate with the project team to monitor project costs and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Conduct site measurements and valuations to ensure accurate reporting of materials and work progress.
• Assist in assessing supplier and contractor quotations, negotiating costs, and preparing comparison reports.
• Conduct research on construction materials, pricing trends, and market conditions to support project planning.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and provide general support to the quantity surveying team.

Job Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a diploma, degree, or equivalent program in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of quantity surveying principles, cost estimation, and construction processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
