Job Description
- Develop and enforce practical contract terms based on site insights, method statements (MS), and ITPs to ensure site accountability, quality control, and defect prevention.
- Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BQ) for tendering and project execution.
- Source reliable and competitive subcontractors, including evaluation, negotiation, and recommendation for award.
- Validate subcontractor claims, conduct periodic audits with site PICs, enforce scope compliance, and apply contractual deductions where applicable.
- Conduct cost comparison and detailed cost analysis (labour by man-days, materials, equipment, mobilisation) to ensure accurate cost planning and tracking.
- Maintain costing databases and support data-driven rate negotiation and continuous cost optimisation.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in contract award across multiple trades, specialising in high-rise projects.
- Strong analytical thinking with a proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving and documentation.
- Able to work independently, manage follow-ups, and maintain clear audit trails of contractual correspondence.
- Experience in cost breakdowns, value engineering, or subcontract negotiation is an added advantage.
- Comfortable interacting with both site and commercial teams, with a willingness to learn site operations (briefings provided where needed).
