We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Account Assistant to support our finance operations. You will assist in managing daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all financial transactions are properly processed and documented.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in handling day-to-day accounting transactions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) entries.
     
  • Prepare, verify, and maintain financial documents such as invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
     
  • Process supplier invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments.
     
  • Maintain up-to-date accounts payable records and assist in account reconciliation.
     
  • Support monthly closing activities and prepare basic accounting reports as required.
     
  • Collaborate with the finance team on audits, documentation, and administrative support tasks.
     
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Finance Executive or superior.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum SPM / Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
     
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
     
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial documentation.
     
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software (e.g., SQL, UBS, AutoCount) is an advantage.
     
  • Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented, with strong responsibility for assigned tasks.
     
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
     
  • Immediate availability or short notice period is an added advantage.
