Job Description

Overview:  

We are looking for an experienced HR Assistant Manager to play a pivotal role in managing employee relations including handling interactions with trade unions and managing various HR functions such as recruitment, employee development, collaborate with management to identify employee training needs and develop training programs, and compliance with labor laws.

Details:
- Negotiate effectively with trade unions and handle collective bargaining processes.
- Drive employee development initiatives, including designing and implementing training programs.
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration of new hires.
- Support organizational objectives by fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.

- Employee Relations: Engage with union representatives, negotiate collective bargaining agreements, and address workplace concerns to maintain a harmonious environment.

- Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent.

- Employee Development: Collaborate with management to assess training needs, develop programs, and support career growth for employees.

- HR Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws and HR best practices, maintaining a positive and legally compliant workplace. 


Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR, including managing union relations and broader HR functions such as recruitment and employee development.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, union regulations, and HR compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
