Job Description

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the overall legal affairs of the Group.
Conduct due dliligence, review and negotiate agreement for acquisitions or corporate transactions undertaken by the Group.
Ensure compliace with the relevant laws, legislation and guidelines by the companies within the Group.
Lead and mentor the legal department at IOI HQ office.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

Degree in Law or equivalent.
Minimum 15 years' working experience in legal practice or as in-house legal counsel.
Working experience in one or more of IOI Group's core business areas (plantation and resource-based manufacturing) will be an advantage.
Experience in mergers & acquisitions and in cross border legal work will be an advantage.
Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
