Job Description

 Key Account Manager – Chain store

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to manage and grow our business with major pharmacy retail chains in Malaysia.

This role will focus on developing strong relationships with pharmacy partners, expanding product listings, and driving sales growth across the pharmacy channel.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management
• Manage and develop relationships with key pharmacy retail chains and distributors
• Act as the main point of contact for major retail accounts
• Negotiate trading terms, promotions, and product placements

Sales Growth
• Drive sales performance across pharmacy chain stores
• Identify opportunities to expand product listings and shelf space
• Develop joint business plans with retail partners

Retail & Promotion Planning
• Plan and execute in-store promotions and marketing campaigns
• Coordinate product launches with pharmacy partners
• Monitor retail sell-through and stock levels

Market & Performance Analysis
• Track sales performance and prepare regular account reports
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer demand
• Provide strategic recommendations to grow the pharmacy channel

Internal Coordination
• Work closely with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams
• Ensure smooth order fulfillment and inventory management


Job Requirements

Requirements

  •  3–6 years experience in key account management or retail sales
    • Experience working with pharmacy or FMCG retail chains is highly preferred
    • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
    • Good understanding of retail sales and trade marketing
    • Willing to travel for account visits

Preferred Experience
• Experience managing accounts with local key account
• Experience in health supplements, nutraceuticals, or wellness products
