Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Livestream Project Manager to spearhead JAM’s Projects Department — the key unit that facilitates efficient collaboration among Business Development, Livestream Operations, Creators/Hosts, and Brand partners.

This individual will be tasked with translating brand briefs into comprehensive promotional strategies, compelling product narratives, and executable action plans, ensuring each livestream is executed with clarity, coherence, and effectiveness.

You will serve as the “connector” that links strategy, content, and execution. 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Promotion Structure

  • Comprehend brand dynamics and develop structured livestream promotion strategies.
  • Create distinct promotional frameworks (deal flow, hooks, calls-to-action, tiering, and hype moments).
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development to translate brand needs into practical livestream strategies.
     

Livestream Content & Product Angles

  • Compile essential product USPs, key messages, and selling propositions.
  • Draft detailed briefing documents for hosts (including key messages, discussion structure, and timelines).
  • Assist hosts in crafting engaging narratives that align with brand objectives and platform dynamics.
  • Support in product sequencing and the planning of live flow.
     

Project Management & Timeline Ownership

  • Manage comprehensive schedules for each brand campaign.
  • Ensure that Business Development, hosts, video team, and livestream operations are in sync.
  • Identify potential obstacles and proactively address issues before they arise.
  • Maintain organized workflows and guarantee that timelines are consistently adhered to.
     

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Direct and oversee the Projects Team (including junior planners, briefing personnel, and coordinators).
  • Standardize briefing templates, campaign tracking tools, schedules, and standard operating procedures.
  • Facilitate seamless information flow across departments (ensuring no communication gaps between teams).
     

Marketing & Insights

  • Contribute marketing perspectives, such as positioning, consumer insights, and key selling propositions.
  • Evaluate livestream performance and recommend enhancements for future sessions.
  • Stay informed on TikTok/IG livestream trends to refine project outcomes.
     

Internal Structure & Improvement

  • Introduce clarity and organization to a rapidly expanding team.
  • Establish processes that guarantee high-quality briefs, timely deliveries, and effective communication.
  • Mentor junior team members to enhance their critical thinking, planning abilities, and communication skills.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in project management, marketing, content strategy, or client management
  • In-depth knowledge of e-commerce promotions, live commerce strategies, or digital marketing
  • Outstanding communication and synthesis abilities (transforming fragmented information into coherent briefs)
  • Highly organized, methodical, and focused on timelines
  • Proficient in overseeing multiple brands and stakeholders concurrently
  • Adept at mentoring junior team members and offering constructive feedback
  • Strong sense of accountability, problem-solving skills, and execution capabilities
  • Fluent in Mandarin and understand the chinese community
