DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:-

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety within the transportation operations.
• Safety Audits: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of transportation facilities, vehicles, and operations to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Training and Development: Develop and deliver safety training programs for all employees, focusing on safe driving practices, emergency response procedures, and equipment usage.
• Incident Investigation: Lead investigations of accidents and incidents to determine root causes, compile reports, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
• Safety Policies: Develop, review, and update safety policies and procedures, ensuring they are communicated effectively to all staff.
• Data Analysis: Collect and analyze safety data, metrics, and trends to identify areas for improvement and track safety performance.
• Emergency Preparedness: Coordinate and participate in emergency drills and preparedness training to ensure readiness for potential emergencies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with management, operational staff, and external regulatory bodies to promote safety initiatives and maintain open lines of communication regarding safety concerns.
• Reporting: Prepare and present safety reports to management, outlining safety performance, incidents, and recommendations for improvement.
• Carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time. 

Job Requirements

SAFETY OFFICER JOB REQUIREMENTS:-

We are seeking a qualified and responsible Safety Officer to ensure workplace safety compliance and promote a safe working environment.

• Safety Officer With Certification
• Possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, or related field.
• At least 1 years working experience, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in logistics / transport is an advantage (candidates with no experience in this field are also welcome to apply).
• Knowledge of OSHA 1994, Road Transport regulations and safety regulations.
• Responsible, able to work independently and willing to travel.
• Good communication and computer skills.
