<p>We are seeking an experienced and proactive <strong>Systems Engineer</strong> to join our Infrastructure Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, support, and continuous improvement of our Enterprise Systems and Wintel Infrastructure. <br>&nbsp;</p>
<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2>

<h3><strong>Operational Support</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Maintain and support an Enterprise Systems and Wintel Infrastructure, including performance tuning and patching.</li>
<li>Provide on-call support and participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.</li>
<li>Provide timely onsite support to resolve incidents and ensure infrastructure availability.</li>
<li>Participate in standby support in systems related maintenance and upgrade activity.</li>
<li>Perform server / storage installation and configuration&nbsp;</li>
<li>Perform server / storage data migrations, allocations, and P2V/V2V workload migrations.</li>
<li>Improve systems infrastrcture monitoring and build exception support via automation and self-service capabilities.</li>
<li>Identify systems related incident trends and support root cause investigations.</li>
<li>Share knowledge and build team capability through collaboration and documentation.</li>
<li>Ensure operational compliance with corporate and governance standards.</li>
</ul>

<h3><strong>Strategic Initiatives</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.</li>
<li>Contribute to the development of technology strategies and roadmaps.</li>
<li>Propose and implement technology improvements to enhance performance and reduce costs.</li>
<li>Collaborate with vendors and internal technology communities.</li>
<li>Support the optimisation of the team’s Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).<br>&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Planning &amp; Process Improvement</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Assist in developing technical skill roadmaps.</li>
<li>Contribute to workload estimation and planning.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate documentation including SOPs, configurations, and processes.</li>
<li>Adhere to Change Management processes and highlight operational risks when identified.<br>&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
