Position Summary: 

JTCA is a well-established accounting firm based in Australia, offering comprehensive accounting, financial planning, and mortgage broking consulting services. We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Executive to assist in preparing financial statements and tax returns for our clients. This role is perfect for someone with a foundational understanding of accounting principles and a desire to grow within a dynamic team environment. 

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities: 

• Review income, debt, and expenses to determine borrowing capacity with various lenders. 
• Conduct cash flow and retirement modeling. 
• Perform product comparisons and prepare quotes. 
• Manage workpapers, internal reports, and bookkeeping. 
• Handle Self Managed Super Fund reporting and data management. 
• Conduct research on client accounts as needed. 
• Prepare and maintain workpapers, research, and records. 
• Review client files to ensure record-keeping requirements are met. 
• Prepare monthly reports for clients. 
• Update internal workflow and database to keep client details current. 
• Prepare product cost comparisons and evaluate risk profiles. 
• Assist the Australian team with assigned tasks. 

Skills & Competencies: 

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. 
• Ability to maintain accuracy and thoroughness in financial tasks. 
• Capability to prioritize work and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
• Analytical skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin. 
• Willingness to learn and grow within the accounting profession, with openness to feedback and development.
