Key Accountabilities

• Managing the finance function to ensure smooth day-to-day operation of overall accounting & financial activities. 
• Responsible for the timely preparation of business units/subsidiaries' monthly, quarterly and yearly management reports to the leading company. 
• Preparing and monitoring the annual budget vs actual revenue and expenses.
• Ensure internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial, statutory, audit and tax reporting.
• Preparation of a full set of statutory financial accounts of the Business Unit/Company in accordance with general acceptable accounting practices, guidelines, policies, accounting standards and MFRS statutory requirements.
• Cash flow management and monitoring.  
• Liaison with external parties such as bankers, auditors, tax agents, authorities and other parties on matters related to financial requirements.
• Oversee and monitor the integrity, effectiveness and efficiency and internal control of the finance and related functions.
• Other ad hoc assignments as may be required from time to time.    

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accountancy or Professional Qualification (Accounting Certificate) (MIA/MICPA/ACCA).
• At least 5 years of working experience in performing a full set of accounts and month-end closing.
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Meticulous and should possess an eye for detail.
