As a Lecturer, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality lectures and seminars in your subject area.
• Developing and updating course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Conducting research and publishing findings in academic journals.
• Teaching and providing academic support, ensuring that programs are delivered according to prescribed standards/quality.
• Applying diverse teaching pedagogies to meet student needs effectively.
• Participating in the development, administration, and marking of exams and other assessments.
• Advising and mentoring students on academic and career matters.
• Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to curriculum development.
• Engaging in continuous professional development to stay current in your field.
• Collaborating with colleagues on research projects and academic initiatives.
• Assisting in the organization of academic events and workshops.

Job Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in the relevant field.
• Proven teaching experience at the higher education level.
• Strong knowledge of the subject area and ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to student success and academic excellence.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
