About the Role

We are seeking a Distribution Sales Assistant Manager to support and strengthen our institutional healthcare sales operations. Working closely with the Distribution Sales Manager, this role bridges sales execution and coordination, with responsibility for managing assigned accounts, supporting business development initiatives, and contributing to overall sales performance.

This role is ideal for candidates with solid experience in B2B / institutional or healthcare sales, who are comfortable engaging hospitals and clinics and navigating structured sales processes within a regulated environment.

  

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and manage institutional accounts involving government hospitals, private hospitals, and clinics
  • Act as a key point of contact for assigned clients, including follow-ups and relationship coordination
  • Support business development activities, including market outreach and prospecting
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and site visits
  • Track sales leads, opportunities, and pipeline status
  • Assist with institutional procurement processes (RFQs, tenders, quotations, documentation)
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as Operations, Regulatory, and Finance
  • Support order processing, delivery coordination, and basic after-sales activities
  • Maintain sales records, reports, and market feedback

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B sales, healthcare / medical sales, or institutional sales
  • Prior exposure to hospitals, clinics, or institutional clients is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills
  • Comfortable managing assigned accounts with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel for client visits within Malaysia
