We are seeking a talented individual to join our Placement team at Marsh &amp; McLennan Asia Business Services (MMABS). This role will be based in our Pavilion Damansara Corporate Towers, Kuala Lumpur office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working as per respective team's arrangement.Senior Insurance Operations Specialist - SG marketWe will count on you to:<ul><li>Client On-Boarding</li><li>Arrange for new clients to be set up on our systems, monitor progress of on-boarding/due diligence of clients, intermediaries, and markets. Liaison with country business teams.</li><li>File appropriate documentation (covering BOR, ToE etc.)</li><li>Assist country business teams with updating / monitoring of MPower.</li></ul><ul><li>Renewal &amp; Placement</li><li>Help prepare, and review renewal reports prepared by the Pre-Renewal Team</li><li>Identify any risks that are not required, 90 days ahead of the renewal date.</li><li>Working with the CE to ensure that all documents are accurate and ready to proceed with the renewal.</li><li>Review of risks being renewed and checking to see that the relevant premium has been paid to insurers.</li><li>Follow up with insurers on risk / exposure related matters (renewal and ongoing placement maintenance).</li><li>Support implementation of insurance contract through the Marsh Digital Trading Platform, where applicable.</li><li>Ensure appropriate records of CE’s negotiations/communications with client and insurers is maintained and filed.</li><li>Where applicable, issuance of Confirmation letters and liaise with insurers on Certificates.</li><li>Support on preparation of premium and allocation schedules.</li><li>Review and check all documentation for content accuracy in accordance with:</li><li>Client First Principles and Quality Assurance Checklists</li><li>Marsh Compliance Standards</li></ul><ul><li>Policy Servicing</li><li>Monitor and manage workflow, coordinate the flow of business into Client Servicing Teams</li><li>Review and respond to queries emanating from Marsh Operations and manage these to close in a timely manner.</li><li>Ensure timely authorisation of documentation, and distribution to client service teams – insurer policy documentation, debit notes, invoices and evidence of cover.</li><li>Develop and sustain supportive and productive working relationship with both CE/Broker and Policy Servicing teams.</li><li>Where required, assist with Fiduciary related queries (funds not received, funds received not paid to insurers) by working with other Kuala Lumper based support teams on the ground.</li></ul><ul><li>Other:</li><li>Set and achieve specific goals as evidenced in Workday</li><li>Complete mandatory training requirements as may be required from time to time by the firm and within the timeframes given</li><li>Complete the Firm’s CPD requirements, currently 35 hours per year, in a timely manner.</li><li>Client and prospect discovery projects – news article and insurance related websites.</li></ul>What you need to have:<ul><li>Excellent organisational skills</li><li>Interpersonal skills – includes country business teams, clients and insurers</li><li>Ability to work under pressure</li><li>Ability to cope with cyclical nature of the business</li></ul> Marsh, a business of Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC), is the world’s top insurance broker and risk advisor.
