Job Description

We seek a motivated and detail-focused Event Marketing Coordinator to assist with our event planning, marketing initiatives, and client relations. You will help organize events from inception to execution, manage sales-related follow-ups, and facilitate seamless collaboration among internal teams, vendors, clients, and partners. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys interacting with people, and can manage several small projects simultaneously.

Primary Duties

  • Contribute to the planning, coordination, and execution of events, overseeing everything from pre-production to on-site operations.
     
  • Support marketing initiatives by generating basic content, collaborating with designers, and overseeing timelines.
     
  • Manage client communications, follow up on leads, create quotations, and maintain sales documentation.
     
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to guarantee efficient event logistics.
     
  • Oversee event registration, customer databases, and the collection of post-event feedback.
     
  • Monitor project timelines to ensure deadlines for marketing materials, event briefs, and deliverables are achieved.
     
  • Assist the sales team in developing proposals, presentation materials, and conducting basic market research.
     
  • Keep track of social media updates related to events and foster community engagement.
     
  • Compile weekly reports on sales activities, event status, and marketing effectiveness.

Essential Qualifications

  • Hold a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, Business, or a similar discipline.
     
  • 1–3 years of relevant work experience in events, marketing, sales support, or customer-facing positions.
     
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities — skilled at engaging with clients and partners.
     
  • Strong organizational capabilities with the knack for multitasking and managing deadlines.
     
  • Fundamental knowledge of marketing materials, social media platforms, and event management processes.
     
  • Able to work on select weekends or evenings depending on event timelines (replacement days off offered).
     
  • Competent in MS Office / Google Workspace (Slides, Docs, Sheets).
     

Desirable Attributes (Bonus)

  • Experience in managing vendors, obtaining quotations, or coordinating event logistics.
     
  • Basic proficiency in Canva or straightforward content generation.
     
  • Capable of working independently in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
