Job Summary: Reporting to the Head of Region, the Head of Sales for Open Channel Dealers is responsible for driving sales through distributors and managing area managers who oversee distributor sales executives. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets, execution excellence, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop sales strategies aligned with organizational goals, including target assignment and revenue forecasting.
Team Leadership: Build and manage high-performing sales teams, providing training, mentoring, and fostering collaboration.
Business Development: Identify and develop relationships with key decision-makers to generate leads and close deals.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends and inform sales strategies.
Customer Engagement: Ensure effective communication with customers throughout the sales process.
Performance Monitoring: Track sales performance and adjust strategies to meet or exceed targets.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales efforts with overall business goals.
Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for area managers and distributor sales executives to enhance their sales capabilities and product knowledge.
Budget Management: Manage the sales budget for the open channel, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
Proven success in sales management and execution.
Experience in developing and executing strategic sales initiatives.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and detail-oriented abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Adaptable and resilient in dynamic environments.
