Job Description
- Lead structural design and analysis for building structures, including slabs, beams, columns, walls, foundations, and structural framing, ensuring compliance with Eurocode and relevant standards.
- Perform reinforced concrete design with a strong focus on construction methodology, detailing, and constructability.
- Propose alternative and optimized design solutions to improve cost efficiency and constructability, and coordinate with project teams to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare and review design calculations, technical reports, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with Eurocode, British Standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead drafting and 3D modeling using Tekla or similar platforms, including preliminary design and detailed documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (IEM/BEM accreditation is an advantage).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design for building projects.
- Strong expertise in structural analysis and reinforced concrete design in accordance with Eurocode.
- Experience in design optimization/alternative solutions and proficiency in Tekla, AutoCAD, and structural analysis software.
- Strong capability in preparing detailed design calculations, with good problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
