Job Description

We are an emerging and fast-growing scheduled waste management company looking for a committed and responsible Environment Officer (EO) to join our team at the MyES plant in Lumut, Perak. This role is crucial to ensure our operations comply with all environmental regulations and licensing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

-Manage all communication and coordination with government authorities (DOE, DOSH, Local Municipal Council, etc.).

-Ensure full compliance with environmental regulations, licence conditions, and internal SOPs.

-Prepare, submit and follow up on all required reports including DOE reporting, e-consignment notes, scheduled waste tracking and online submissions.

-Handle site audits, inspections, and visits by relevant authorities.

-Maintain accurate documentation related to scheduled waste handling, storage, and disposal.

-Monitor plant environmental performance (waste, emissions, effluent, etc.) and advise on corrective actions.

-Support licence/permit applications, renewals and compliance documentation.

-Work closely with operations and management to ensure environmental standards are met.

-Assist in maintaining environmental management systems (e.g., ISO).

Job Requirements

Requirements:

-Diploma/Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.

-Knowledge of DOE regulations and scheduled waste guidelines is an advantage.

-Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

-Strong communication and documentation skills.

-Ability to liaise confidently with authorities.

-Responsible, independent, and able to work at plant site in Lumut.
