Job Description
- Assist in the coordination and execution of pre-event, on-site, and post-event activities.
- Support the development and maintenance of event budgets, track expenses, manage financial records, and handle contract management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of event-related materials and services.
- Assist in vendor coordination, procurement, and management of event supplies, equipment, and rentals.
- Support event registration processes, attendee management, and coordination of special requirements.
- Assist with on-site event management, including vendor coordination, troubleshooting, and guest assistance.
- Work with the event team to address unexpected issues and ensure smooth event operations.
- Assist in coordinating event entertainment, performances, and technical requirements.
- Help manage part-time staff and ensure they are well-informed and prepared for their tasks.
- Support post-event evaluation processes, including gathering feedback from attendees, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing post-event reports, highlighting key findings and areas for improvement.
- Help organize and archive event files, photos, and related materials.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.
Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of event management experience or any related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Online Cloud system such as OneDrive and Google Drive is a must.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for event support.
- Passion for the event industry and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
- Able to move around independently.
