This full-time Events Venue Executive role at Glasshouse at Seputeh' in Seputeh, Kuala Lumpur presents an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic hospitality company. You will be representing the venue in dealing with clients and responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the events venue, ensuring seamless event delivery and a high level of customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

1. Liaising with clients to understand their event requirements and coordinate all aspects of event and execution with regards to the venue
2. Overseeing the set-up, management and breakdown of events, ensuring the venue is prepared and ready for each booking
3. Handling administrative duties related to the events venue such as vendors, suppliers, invoicing and billing
4. Maintaining detailed event records and providing progress updates to management
5. Spearheading the sales and marketing efforts to promote the venue and secure new bookings
6. Work closely with the in-house team, contractors and technicians in coordinating the maintenance and upkeep of the building and environment
   

Job Requirements

1. Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar events or hospitality role
2. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to work under pressure
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and the events team
4. Familiarity with MS Office and IT savvy
5. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences
6. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
