The Accounts Receivable Officer is responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s receivables, specifically handling offline customers such as distributors, supermarkets, resellers, corporate clients, internal staff purchases, and other cash sales. This role ensures timely collection of outstanding invoices, accurate financial records, and proper reconciliation of payments while optimizing cash flow and minimizing bad debts in the fast-paced FMCG industry.

<ins>Key Responsibilities:</ins>
Statement of Account (SOA) &amp; Invoice Management
<ul>
<li>Generate Statements of Account (SOA) for customers to ensure timely payments.</li>
<li>Ensure all invoices are issued accurately and align with goods delivered.</li>
<li>Verify and reconcile sales orders, delivery notes, and invoices to prevent discrepancies.</li>
<li>Verify all billings from customers to ensure accuracy and compliance with agreements.</li>
</ul>
Credit Control, Collections &amp; Returns Management
<ul>
<li>Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.</li>
<li>Conduct regular reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy.</li>
<li>Coordinate with the sales team to resolve disputes or payment delays.</li>
<li>Assess credit risks and recommend credit limits for customers.</li>
<li>Manage goods returned from customers, ensuring proper documentation and necessary adjustments in the accounting system.</li>
</ul>
Reporting &amp; Reconciliation
<ul>
<li>Prepare monthly sales reports for management review.</li>
<li>Prepare accounts receivable aging reports and analyze overdue accounts.</li>
<li>Reconcile customer balances with internal records and resolve discrepancies.</li>
<li>Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.</li>
<li>Maintain proper documentation of invoices, payments, returns, and customer communications.</li>
</ul>
Compliance &amp; Audit Support
<ul>
<li>Ensure adherence to company financial policies and regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.</li>
<li>Implement best practices to improve AR efficiency and reduce bad debts.</li>
</ul>
