We have an exciting internship opportunity (June intake) with Propex Singapore Pte Ltd, a proprietary trading firm and an Associate Participant of Bursa Malaysia Derivatives.

Job Description

The intern gets the firsthand experience coordinating the upcoming Futures Trading Apprenticeship Programme in collaboration with Bursa Malaysia. In this role, you will also work side-by-side with institutional traders in a live trading environment.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist team with administrative tasks related to trading operation.
• Prepare documentation required for the launch of the Bursa Malaysia FTAP Program.
• Conduct research and analysis on specific markets, sectors, or instruments.
• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing market trends and trading activities. 
• Create and update spreadsheets, presentations, and documents.
• Learn and understand the basics of trading strategies and market dynamics
• Collaborate with team members to optimize trading strategies and performance.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Undergraduate in Computer Science, Mathematics or Finance. 
• Self‑starter: independent, adaptable and ready to hit the ground running.
• Strong market‑research mindset with solid data‑analytical skills.

Internship Details

• Preferably the internship period is 6 months, starting from June.
• Based in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur.
• Allowance will be provided.
