Job Description

 

  1. Assist in handling accounting entries such as receipts, payments, and invoices.
  2. Manage the day-to-day processing of transactions in an efficient, accurate, and up-to-date manner.
  3. Support month-end closing activities and preparation of basic journals.
  4. Help prepare simple financial reports (e.g. cash book, debtor listing, reconciliation).
  5. Maintain proper filing of accounts and documents.
  6. Provide support to the team in liaising with auditors, tax agents, and banks when needed.
  7. Assist with SST submissions and ensure deadlines are met.
  8. Carry out administrative and ad-hoc duties assigned by your supervisor.
  9. Report to superior on issues or discrepancies promptly.

Job Requirements

 

  • Posses SPM certificate, Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Post Graduate or equivalent.
  • Fresh graduate are welcome to apply.
  • At least 2-3 years of working experiences in Finance/Accounting is preferred.
  • Familiar with general accounting is an added advantage.
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Computer literate, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with accounting software such as SQL Accounting Software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for coordination across departments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and perform well under pressure.
  • Immediate availability or short notice is preferred.
