Job Description

We are searching for a Senior Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. You’ll play a key role in identifying and hiring top-tier talent across multiple departments in Kuala Lumpur. This is a hands-on, strategic role where you will manage the entire recruitment process, from identifying staffing needs to onboarding new hires. This role will be a flex recruiting position - meaning one day you could be supporting high-volume Client Support roles, and the next recruiting corporate or leadership openings. We’re looking for someone that has the agility and willingness to work on all types of recruitment for our Malaysia hiring needs.

What You’ll Accomplish:

  • Partner with hiring managers across departments to define job requirements and recruitment strategies.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for corporate and high-volume Client Support roles
  • Utilize sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Jobstreet, job boards, referrals) to identify top candidates.
  • Conduct interviews across various stages of the recruitment process, including phone screenings, video interviews, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Provide data-driven recruitment insights, including time-to-fill, pass-through rates, and candidate cycle times, to improve hiring strategies.
  • Enhance recruiting processes in Malaysia through stakeholder collaboration and reporting.
  • Contribute to employer branding efforts, focusing on increasing inbound applications and candidate interest
  • Ensure a seamless candidate experience, from application to onboarding, while managing multiple recruitment projects.

Year 1 Deliverables:

  • Enhance corporate and high-volume recruiting in Malaysia, improving hiring metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Build out and optimize reporting on recruitment progress for corporate and high-volume roles.
  • Become a trusted recruitment advisor for local business leaders in Malaysia.
  • Strengthen our employer brand, measurable through increased application flow, positive candidate interest, and improved employer review scores on platforms like Glassdoor.

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a High-Volume and Corporate Recruiter in the tech industry, preferably in a start-up environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and hiring managers.
  • Experience in creating and analyzing recruitment reports to provide insights to business leaders.
  • Proven success utilizing social media and job portals (e.g., LinkedIn, Jobstreet) to source and recruit talent.
  • Hands-on experience with recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, Gem, and Google Suite.
  • Experience enhancing employer brand proposition (ideally for a lesser known startup)
  • Must be willing to work on-site at our Kuala Lumpur location.
  • Unlock headcount planning by partnering cross-functionally with local leadership and Capacity Planning teams to understand hiring needs in advance
  • Bilingual in both English and Mandarin

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working in a global startup or handling international recruitment.
  • Strong knowledge of the tech landscape and recruitment trends in Malaysia.
  • Experience recruiting for both customer support and sales roles
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple roles and projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality results.
