Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server Operating Systems (Windows Server / Linux) 
• Perform regular OS updates, patching, and basic security hardening 
• Monitor system performance, uptime, and server health 
• Troubleshoot OS-related issues such as services, boot errors, permissions, and logs 
• Create, manage, and maintain Virtual Machines (VMware / Hyper-V / VirtualBox) 
• Allocate and optimize VM resources (CPU, RAM, storage) 
• Perform VM snapshots, backups, and restoration when required 
• Assist in VM deployment for development and production environments 
• Monitor system alerts and respond to incidents in a timely manner 
• Support internal users with basic technical issues (1st/2nd level support) 
• Maintain system documentation including server inventory and VM records

• Diploma / Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field 
• Basic knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows/Linux) 
• Familiar with virtualization concepts (VMware / Hyper-V / VirtualBox) 
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills 
• Willing to learn and work in a team environment

Added Advantage

• Experience with server administration or cloud platforms 
• Knowledge of networking basics 
• IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.)
