Position Responsibilities

To execute day-to-day fixed asset accounting operations and ensure accurate recording,documentation, and reconciliation of assets in accordance with company policies andaccounting standards.

Fixed Asset Accounting Operations

•  Maintain Fixed Asset Register (FAR) including additions, transfers, reclassifications,disposals, and write-offs.
•  Perform monthly depreciation runs and ensure accuracy of asset classes and useful lives.
•  Reconcile FAR to General Ledger and resolve discrepancies.
•  Manage CIP tracking and support timely capitalisation upon commissioning.

Documentation & Compliance

•  Ensure all asset transactions are supported with complete documentation (PO, invoice, DO,GRN, approvals).
•  Validate capital vs expense treatment based on established policies.
•  Highlight incomplete or non-compliant asset records for escalation.

Physical Verification Support

•  Support asset tagging and periodic physical verification exercises.
•  Update asset location, custodian, and status based on verification outcomes.
•  Assist in investigation of missing, idle, or unrecorded assets.

Audit Support

• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents for fixed assets.
• Respond to audit queries and support walkthroughs and sample testing.

Systems & Data Maintenance

• Maintain accuracy of asset master data in ERP systems.
• Support system enhancements and process improvements as directed by management.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in fixed asset accounting or financial accounting.
• Hands-on experience with FAR, depreciation, and reconciliations.
• ERP experience (NetSuite or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
