Zuspresso Malaysia is seeking a qualified Account Payable Manager to join our company. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Manager to lead our AP operations across a dynamic retail network. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end accounts payable processes, ensuring timely vendor payments, maintaining compliance, and driving process improvements to support business growth.   

Position Responsibilities

• Oversee daily AP operations, including invoice verification, payment processing, and reconciliation across multiple retail outlets.
• Lead and mentor the AP team to ensure high performance, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines.
• Manage vendor relationships, resolve payment disputes, and negotiate favorable terms.
• Monitor cash flow and payment schedules to optimize working capital and support retail operations.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, SST requirements, and internal financial controls.
• Collaborate with procurement, store operations, and finance teams to align AP processes with business needs.
• Prepare AP reports, aging analysis, and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Drive automation and system enhancements using ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Support internal and external audits with timely and accurate documentation.

Job Requirements

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in high-volume, multi-entity retail environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, SST, and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
