Job Description
Objective
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Marketing Project Management Officer (PMO) to join our dynamic marketing team. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you will be the operational backbone of our strategic initiatives, ensuring that complex, multi-regional marketing projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standard.
The ideal candidate is a master of coordination and communication, capable of liaising effectively with numerous regional business units and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for translating marketing strategies into actionable project plans, tracking progress meticulously, and ensuring seamless execution from kickoff to completion.
Position Responsibilities
Part 1 –Primary roles of the job which are measurable and may be used as part of KPIs
To drive all projects initiated by and are related to marketing and growth by,
- Project Management: Lead and manage marketing projects from the inception stage to successful completion. This includes defining project scope, timeline, goals, deliverables, and resources required.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, growth, brand, tech, and product development to align project objectives and ensure seamless execution.
- Strategy and Planning: Develop innovative marketing strategies and plans to drive user and brand growth. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks from projects initiated or assigned.
- Project Execution: Oversee the implementation of marketing projects across various channels, ensuring the delivery of consistent and impactful messaging to target audiences.
- Performance Tracking: Establish metrics and KRs (key results) to measure the success of marketing projects. Monitor user growth, targeted segment of customer's growth, and channel revenue growth to evaluate project’s effectiveness.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and optimize marketing, brand, and growth divisional processes and workflows to maximize efficiency and drive better results.
- Budget Management: Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage marketing project budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution without compromising quality.
- Stakeholder Management: Provide guidance to a team of marketing members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement via project management.
Part 2 – Secondary roles which supports the primary roles above
- Manage budgets and projects across all channels to drive company’s key results that are closely related to revenue and user growth.
- Create a project-basis tracking framework including but not limited to key milestone, success metrics, as ell as manage project handover process to key project stakeholders.
- Analyse, suggest, report, and follow up on projects and initiatives based on the return on investment / project performance.
- Ensure successful planning, execution, optimization for key results via effective project management.
- Work closely with the management to share project improvement ideas, feedback & present results
- Develop and present learnings from analyses, including actionable insights and recommendations
- Create dashboards, data visualizations, and project reports
BONUS: A creative mindset with an enthusiasm for contributing fresh ideas during brainstorming sessions would be a significant advantage.
