About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to lead and manage all HR functions within our mid-sized law firm. This role is pivotal in shaping our HR strategy, ensuring compliance with Malaysian labor laws, and fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Management

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the firm’s business objectives.
  • Advise senior management on workforce planning, talent development, and organizational structure.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and selection.
  • Design and oversee onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.

Employee Benefits & Welfare

  • Administer staff benefits programs (medical, insurance, leave entitlements) in compliance with local regulations.
  • Review and recommend improvements to compensation and benefits packages.

Performance Management

  • Coordinate annual and mid-year performance reviews, including goal setting and evaluation.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and career development.

HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Handle basic administrative tasks such as payroll coordination, leave management, and compliance reporting.

Compliance & Policy Development

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in professional services or legal industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
