Job Description

Job Summary:

The Incoming Quality Control (Electrical & Mechanical) is responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying that

electrical and mechanical components, assemblies, and systems meet required quality standards and

specifications. This role ensures compliance with regulatory, industry, and client standards throughout the

production or installation process.

Inspection & Testing:

  •  Perform quality inspections on electrical and mechanical components, assemblies, and finished systems.
  •  Conduct functional and performance testing using tools such as Multimeters, Megger, calipers, micrometers, torque wrench and other QA instruments.
  •  Verify conformance to specifications, drawings, standards (e.g., ISO, IEC), and customer requirements.

Documentation & Reporting:

  •  Record inspection and test results accurately in quality reports, checklists, or digital systems.
  •  Generate non-conformance reports (NCRs), and assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  •  Maintain calibration records of QA tools and equipment.

Collaboration & Support:

  •  Work closely with Production, Engineering, Design and Maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
  •  Provide feedback to production teams on recurring quality problems and improvement opportunities.
  •  Assist with training operators on quality standards and procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.

Experience:

  •  1–3 years of experience in quality control or inspection in manufacturing, construction, or engineering environment.
  •  Experience with both electrical (e.g., wiring, control panels, motors) and mechanical (e.g., fittings, piping,welding) systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IEC standards, ASTM).
  •  Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  •  Skilled in using QA tools and instruments (multimeter, caliper, gauge blocks, etc.).
  •  Familiarity with electrical safety standards and mechanical tolerances.
