Material Planning:
· Review MRP report and material shortages report to ensure adequate material supply
· Carry out detailed material planning and re-scheduling for high value and long lead
time items
· Ensure material or component specification changes are planned appropriately, to avoid scrapping of obsolete material
· Review and manage slow moving inventory to minimize inventory exposure owing to excess and obsolescence
· Maintain appropriate inventory safety stock and re-order levels, where necessary to avoid any material stock out situations
· Maintain item data and planning parameters in the system to ensure MRP reports are generated accurately

Supplier Management:
· Ensure full compliance to the respective standards on supplier management
· Involve in supplier audits
Purchasing:
· Manage purchase order issuance and follow up to ensure timely delivery
· Support and initiate purchasing programs to consistently drive down material cost, shipping cost and purchasing lead time.
· Ensure fast response time to internal customers
· Ensure full compliance to procurement and purchasing policy
· Partner with QA to ensure quality of procured items and addresses quality issues when they arise
Preferably with 3-5 year experience in purchasing and procurement.
